We are looking for a skilled Functional Consultant with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and web portal solutions. This role bridges the gap between business users and technical teams, translating client needs into system functionalities and ensuring successful solution delivery across multiple industries in the Region.

We are looking for a skilled Functional Consultant with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Business Central and web portal solutions. This role bridges the gap between business users
and technical teams, translating client needs into system functionalities and ensuring
successful solution delivery across multiple industries in the Region. You will work on both ERP
implementations and portal-based interfaces, supporting both backend and user-facing
processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyses business requirements related to business environment, and
customer engagement.
Configure and implement modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, such as Finance, HR, Admin, Procurement, Purchasing etc. Design user journeys and workflows for customers or employee-facing portals (e.g., Power Pages, custom portals).
• Collaborate with development teams to define and test system customizations,
reports, and integrations
• Act as the liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and QA to ensure functional
alignment.
• Prepare functional documentation: business requirement documents (BRD),
functional design documents (FDD), and user manuals and any other documentation
required for project completion.
• Assist in data migration, system testing, UAT training, and go-live support.
• Support client's post-deployment for enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous
improvement.
• Perform Systems presentations and create proposals for our prospective clients.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance and accounting, CPAK/ACCA
- 3–5 years of experience as a functional consultant in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, CRM, and Power BI reporting.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes: such as finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, Procurement, HRM, and Payroll
- Experience working with portal solutions integrated with ERP systems (Power Apps Portals, Power Pages, or custom web portals).
- Ability to interpret and document business needs and translate them into system configurations or developer requirements
- Familiarity with AL extensions, API integrations, Power Bi, and Power Platform is a plus.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI (preferred).
- Experience and deep understanding of Govs, NGOs, Microfinance (Saccos, Investment and Core Banking), Manufacturing (+/FMCG), Real Estate & Properties, Insurance & Pensions, Aviation, Retail & Distribution, and General Private Sector Business Automation processes.
- Hands-on experience in Systems presentation and End User training.
